Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, HUSTL Pickleball was born in Melbourne Australia and all our paddles are designed, engineered and tested in Australia before bing released to the market.
We dispatch 3 days per week and use Australia Post for all local shipments. Delivery usually takes 2 working days from shipment date. If you need your paddle quicker you can always purchase a paddle from one of our stockists. Check our "Stockists Page" to find someone near you that sells the HUSTL paddle range.
All our paddles come with a 100% manufacturers warranty. We will require you to ship the paddle back to our warehouse and once we determine that the paddle has a manufacturers defect will replace your paddle.
The best way to determine which paddle is best for your game is to test them out.
The HUSTL Stealth is great for both beginner and intermediate players as it has really nice control and touch and enough power to give the ball some heat.
For more power and still enough control but added spin the HUSTL Legend is the ideal choice. In fact the Legend is our best seller by far and used by players of all levels, beginner to PRO all over the world.
For next level power our X15 PRO is the paddle to go for, but be warned it's much harder to control and could cause you to pop the ball up too much, which we all know isn't good.
Maybe visit a HUSTL stockist near you and try out a demo. See our stockists page to find someone near you.
All our ambassadors must have played with the HUSTL paddle first before being eligible to apply to become an ambassador. If you have played with a HUSTL paddle and love it then we welcome you to apply.
Graphite paddles are lightweight, highly responsive, and known for their soft feel, making them ideal for finesse players who prioritise control and quick manoeuvrability. They are affordable but can show wear over time. Carbon fibre paddles, on the other hand, are stiffer, more durable, and offer enhanced power, spin, and consistency, with a solid feel that suits players seeking both control and strength. While both materials are lightweight, carbon fibre tends to provide superior durability and performance at a higher price point.
Swing weight in pickleball refers to how heavy a paddle feels when you swing it, rather than its actual static weight. It is influenced by the distribution of weight throughout the paddle and affects how much effort is needed to swing and manoeuvre it during play. HUSTL paddle swing weights are generally quite low in comparison with other pro level paddle models. HUSTL paddle swing weight does vary from model to model.
1. Weight Distribution:
A paddle with more weight towards the head feels heavier to swing, increasing power but reducing manoeuvrability.
A paddle with weight closer to the handle feels lighter and easier to control but may generate less power.
2. Paddle Shape:
Longer paddles or those with extended heads often have a higher swing weight due to the extra leverage. Wider or standard shapes distribute weight more evenly, resulting in a lower swing weight.
3. Balance Point:
Paddles with a “head-heavy” balance (weight towards the top) have a higher swing weight.
Paddles with a “handle-heavy” balance feel easier to swing quickly and are ideal for control and fast net play.
Higher Swing Weight: Provides more power and stability but requires more effort to manoeuvre, which can be taxing during long games.
Lower Swing Weight: Allows for faster, more controlled swings, ideal for quick reactions and finesse shots, but sacrifices some power.
Swing weight is crucial for determining how the paddle feels in play, particularly for players who want the right balance of power and manoeuvrability.
Swing weight is determined using specialised equipment that measures how a paddle rotates around a pivot point (often near the handle). Pickleball testing labs or manufacturers test the paddle’s inertia to provide an accurate swing weight measurement.
